COMENIUS QUESTIONNAIRE

The first activitiy within our project was realisation of the questionaire. Its purpose was to find out the level of communication between the pupils and  between the pupils and teachers as well as the level of using of the body language and using various means of communication. Every school realised the same questionnaire which was made out by the school coordinators together. Every school realised it on a sample of 30 pupils and teachers, did analysis and worked out the results.

COMENIUS CORNER

Every school set up its Comenius corner, which will be used as a notice board where the basic information about the project, activities, outcomes will be placed to be visible for everybody at school as well as for the parents and visitors. Here you can see some pictures of Slovak Comenius corner.

POSTER - MY BODY IS TALKING

Every school was supposed to make a poster which represents body language. The Slovak poster was made by children and a reponsible teacher was helping them. In our school it was Mrs. Alenka Vaňková.

PROJECT LOGO COMPETITION

The logo competition was realised in every school to chose the best one which will become the project logo, will represent our school and the topic of the project - Our Body Language. Every school chose the bet one in their school, then sent it to the others which placed all he logos in the Comenius corner, put numbers next to each of them and then the project voting was realised.  There are the results of the vote:

Slovak logo had the most of the votes, so it became the winner and as well as the project logo. Its author is Daniela Tomašovičová, 6 A class.

PROJECT T-SHIRTS

Bulgaria was responsible for making the project T - shirts. They made them for every school, printed with the project logo and brought them to the project meeting in Slovakia. We wore them during some of the activities to be able to feel the aim of the project more properly. We will wear them during all the activities doing within the project, not only during the project meetings.

PROJECT MASCOT

During the first visit in Slovakia, we made our project mascot. Every group of pupils and teachers from each country together with hosting pupils from Slovakia made theit own mascot. Every mascot is the same, made from the same material. It will go along with us during each activity and every project visit.

Photo Album

Pictures which show the body language signals are presented and collected in a photo album in an electronic form. In Slovak school, children presented the body language signals on their own. They learned a lot and at the same time, they had a lot of fun. Maybe they haven´t realised so far, how often they normally use body language and that body language is a very important part of our communication.

MY BODY LANGUAGE - SLOVAK STUDENTS´PICTURES

In April the kids were  responsible for making some pictures which reflect their inner world and silent expression. Then, comparing the body language of different cultures, language  variations and gestures in cultures which differ from West to East will be done. Slovak students used an internet web page www. tondoo.com to draw their pictures. They tried to express their feelings and at the same time they have improved their ICT skills as well as using body language. Here you can see the pictures.

BODY LANGUAGE COMENIUS CALLENDAR

One of our final products is a callendar where the names of the months are made with our students bodies. The coordinator for this outcome was Spanish school while every school made two or three months, sent them together with some pictures and ideas to Spanish friends who collected them and made a nice callendar.

Slovak results - guessing game

In November 2013 a theatre with the name of “Let’s tell what!” was acted by the teachers and the pupils - every country received some signs, actions and movements from Turkey and we were guessing what do they actually mean. Turkish sent us also a table with the descriptions of each movement and we were supposed to guess their meaning. We did it, filled in the tables and sent them to Turkey. They evaluate our work and sent us the results. Here you can see the video, the table, as well as the results of each country.  According to them, it is visible that all of us should learn more about body language used in another countries and that it differ more or less within the project countries. However, it was a very nice experience which enriched us, we liked it very much and learnt a lot about Turkish body language, habbits and customs.
