Dumlupinar Primary School was founded in 1971,in Kalecik/Ankara,the capital of Turkey. The school has two related departments,the first one is for 6-11-year-old students,and the second one is for 12-15-year-old students. There are 258 students and 17 staff at school. All staff work by focusing on the attendance of students with the cooperation of teachers-students-parents.   

The main vision of our school is to educate the pupils as having confidence,thinking systematically,using the modern technology effectively,being aware of their own interests and capabilities,and also to bring out their personal features,advise them the appropriate schools and institutions according to their choice of occupation.        Besides,both communication skills and interaction among the students and the teachers are main interest areas of the school.

In the project,Dumlupinar Secondary School will mainly be responsible for taking part in the following project activities:

*Organization of meeting in Turkey  in 2013 for discussing of the project process.

*Conducting researches to identify the meanings of body language.

*Encouraging social interaction among participants.

The school has never had Comenius project before,we believe this project will bring us chance and this will be our first experience of European projects.And the students will have opportunity to become more open-minded and social.Moreover,they will be aware of the importance and the qualities of being European citizen.
