Arrival in Borský Mikuláš during the day

11.00 Departure to the hostel and lunch in the hostel, kids have
lunch at school
12.30 Departure to Bratislava – in front of the school
14.00 – 16.00 - Walking through historical part of Bratislava,
some sightseeings, buying souvenirs, having some meal…
17.00 Watching a theatre performance of „Popolvár“ in the
National Theatre
21.00 Dinner at the hostel (children to the families)

Wednesday
8.00 Breakfast at the hostel
8.45-9.45 Instructions how to work on the web page in the PC room
in school – only teachers (children have a long sleep and free
time till 10.00)
10.00 – 11.30 Ceremonial Academy of Culture – performances of our
pupils in a nice programme
12.00 Lunch at the hostel, kids at school
14.00 Walking through the village, watching interesting spots –
Catholic church, Native house of a great poetry of Ján
Hollý, some shopping, having a cup of coffee…….
17.00 Dinner in the hostel, kids in the families – they will stay here
for whole evening
18.00 International dinner in the restaurant of Búranský dvúr,
some typical music and dancing (without children )

9.15 – 11.00 – making project mascots – teachers and pupils together
12.00 Lunch at the hostel and kids at school
14.00 Departure to Šaštín Stráže (the nearest town – 5 kms far
away from BM) to visit the Basilica of Virgin Mary of Seven
Grievances, the patron saint of Slovakia ( by cars with our
teachers )
17.00 Dinner at the hostel, kids at home
18.00 Exhibition of a local folklore body – SLZA – for all the
teachers, hosting parents and pupils
18.30 Good bye evening in the Palace of culture, dinner, evaluating
of the visit, thanking, disco …… with all the teachers,
hosting parents and pupils
21.30 Departure - children with hosting parents

Departures
The first day
The groups of the participants came during the day. We started our meeting by Welcome evening in the Palace of Culture. The project coordinator Mrs. Daniela Tomašovičová together with the headmistress Mrs. Marta Kotianová opened the evening by welome the participants who introduced themselves. We had dinner together and meet each other having nice chats, as well as the pupils. After that the teachers went to see the Mayor´s office and the areas of our Municipal Authority. After that the teachers went to the hostel to have a rest after travelling and kids went to the families to be fresh for the next day´s activities. Everybody was looking forward to the next days.
The second day
We met at school to put the posters of Body Language onto the boards. We watched our posters and took our common photo. Then there was a time to present every school in the PC room. Each school prepared their power point presentations and introduce the school, country as well as activities which are being done in their schools. In the afternoon we went to Bratislava to watch a theatre performance of Popolvár in Slovak National Theatre. It was a ballet and a lot of body language was presented here. Every participant was able to understand it and follow the story line. We spent a nice day together starting to fulfill the main aim of our project as well as the project meeting - our body language.
The third day
This day was started with a short course, where the project coordinator Daniela Tomašovičová showed the others how to work on the web page. Slovakia as the coordinator school was responsible for setting up the web page, so that was the best time to explain the participants how to work here. After that we met the kids and all the other teachers in the Palace of Culture where Ceremonial Cultural Academy was prepared. This ceremony takes part every year in hosting school in Borský Mikuláš, but this year it was very special because of participating of the school in the project - every performance was doing through body language. The performances were prepared by Slovak teachers and the actors were Slovak pupils - more than a half of the school. All the performances were very nice and every participant was able to understand its meaning and content. In the afternoon we went to watch some nice places in the village - native house of the poet Ján Hollý and the Church of St. Nicolas. After that we met together in the restaurant of Búranský Dvúr to have an international dinner. Every school brought some typical meals or sweets, snacks of their country. Every country had its own table with some specialities and the richiest table belonged to hosting country - Slovakia. There were the typical gnochi, pasties, sausages, pies or cakes. We had also a disco. because the participants also brought their typical music. We were dancing Turkish, Polish, Bulgarian, Slovak and Spanish dances and had a very nice time together.
The fourth day
The main goal of the last day of the meeting was to make our project mascot. Everything was prepared on the tables and every country prepared theit own mascot - all of them were the same. After two hours of cutting, filling and sawing we had five maskots which will represent our project and will go with us to every meeting and will take part in every activity. In the afternoon we went to the neighbourgh town of Šaštín by cars with Slovak teachers. There we visited the Basilica of Virgin Maria of Seven Sorrows. This Christian place is well-known all over the world and at first it is known as the pilgrim ´s place. In the evening we had a goodbye party, where we evaluated the meeting, thanked the participants for taking part in the first meeting, gave the guests nice presents - also the Municipal Authority gave them some presents. Folklore local body of SLZA opened the evening by nice Slovak folklore dances. Their performance was very nice and very proffesional. Every participant got the certificate about his taking part in the meeting and said the words of thanking. After these officialities and dinner we had free time which we spent by talking, drinking, having fun, dancing and taking pictures. We said goodbye each other and everybody will look forward to the next meeting in Bulgaria in June 2013.
